As the weather in Europe is in the grip of winter, who wouldn’t like a little sun on a nice beach? Travel is more difficult at present, but still possible. This is the east end of the lovely beach in Santa Maria on Sal island, Cape Verde. This photograph was taken by Josh Angulo’s bar and surf centre. A lovely area for those staying at the east end of the town, but only about 8 minutes walk from the town centre.
